Hello ,

Can you believe it’s April already? Kimberly & I are welcoming it with open arms, at least as much as I can. As you may remember from last month’s newsletter, I dislocated and fractured my dominant elbow, back in February. Fortunately so far, I’ve been able to avoid surgery, regaining nearly full motion, and expect to remove my brace in a couple weeks… giving me just enough time to build strength and prepare for Adelyn’s arrival in May.

Additionally, we cannot wait for warmer, but not hot weather, as our heat pump is still out, since 18 Feb. We’ve been using very expensive emergency heat ever since and have set the thermostat to 63. This also means no AC if it gets hot. We’re still waiting on parts (Avon isn’t the only company with supply chain issues) which hopefully will be here Friday. It’s been as low as 57°F in our office which can be rather cold.

Avon Convention (Avon Connect 2024)

Convention will be in Boston, MA this year, 21-23 August. They haven’t released the specific location/hotel block for in-person yet, but they have announced that you may attend virtually for free this year! We’ve already made and booked most of our travel plans, just waiting on the final details. Hope you can join us; live in Boston or virtually from home. Stay tuned for more details.

Let’s Talk: MuchMoreThanLipstick

Join us TODAY (Thursday) and tomorrow, 4 & 5 Apr, for another virtual party in the Team’s Avon Community page, Let’s Talk: MuchMoreThanLipstick. There will be interactive posts, opportunities to get to know other Team members and their customers, and GIVEAWAYS! No purchase necessary, no pressure to buy, just fun. Enter the drawings by comment on specific posts during the event.

You are encouraged to join us as a rep and to invite your friends and customers. Customers are always encouraged to purchase through the rep/Team member that invited them to join the group.

April - Birthdays and Avonniversaries

We have a large number of April birthdays and Avonniversaries this month. To see the list go to the Team Facebook Group [facebook.com/groups/avonteammuchmorethanlipstick] and check them out. However, we want to spotlight Gwen B from Dayton OH who will be celebrating her 30th year with Avon on the 27th. Way to go Gwen! 30 years is quite a milestone.

Team Recognition for March

The Avon 2023 Regional awards and National Top 100 list were released on Friday, 8 March. Team MuchMoreThanLipstick had two achievers.

• Kimberly Elam - Dayton, OH, was Avon’s number 94 rep in the Nation for Personal Sales Volume for 2023 and number 6 in Ohio. Kimberly is currently Rose Circle with 45% earnings from 2023.
• Sandra McMoore - Dayton, OH, was number 42 in the Nation for Personal Sales Volume for 2023, and number 2 in Ohio. She is also Rose Circle from 2023, and is currently on Avon’s 2024 Top 100 list. Both Sandra and Kimberly received an Avon Pearly Peacock necklace & earrings set for their recognitions.
• Linda Layman - Indianapolis, IN, surpassed $1,000 in award sales. Linda joined Avon in Oct, 2023
• Kimberly & Team MuchMoreThanLipstick remain one of the Top 100 teams in the Nation for Team Representative Growth and Team Sales Increase over 2023, closing out C06 at #3 and #4 respectively.
• Consistency Counts - Kimberly E, Sandra M, Carolyn H, and Linda L all earned an Avon product bundle by having consistent qualifying orders during all four campaigns, C3-C6. All Team members were eligible and many had one or more qualifying orders. Kimberly’s bundle was valued over $300
• Avon NEXT - Cyndi A, Linda L, Sharen C, Cheryl J, Shelagh M, Carolyn H, Monica S, Sandra M, Eler B have all earned free shipping by having qualifying orders. Avon Next runs through C11 (4 Jun) so there is still time to earn. NEXT is for non-PRP reps only. Contenders need $100+ in award sales and Premier need $200+ during a campaign and they’ll earn free shipping for their next campaign.

Shop & Learn

Remember to watch and share your personal eStore link to Avon’s Shop & Learn events where you can see product demos and learn beauty tips. As a representative, you too and receive the free products if you place a qualifying order and use the coupon code during the promotions. We will often place a second campaign order during the Shop & Learn events if we have enough new customer orders come in after we place our regular order. We use the free products for ourselves, sell to others for even more profit, or sometimes we’ll use them for Team incentives like this week's Let’s Talk event.
