Personal user guide (with real examples)

Greetings from Big Bend National Park,
I was reminded recently of timeless career advice:
WHAT you work on and WHO you work with — matter much more than HOW HARD you work.
Life’s simply too short to get this backward.
Further, the “work” we do on ourselves, is a multiplier to the whole process.
Now if only there were some sort of (personal) User Guide for that...
