🌱 The most useful 3 minutes of your week

A quick tour (and my favorite frameworks)

Welcome to all the new people who joined from my dopamine video this week!

If you’re new here, each week I share 3 actionable insights in 3 minutes around human behavior, life, and business.

Mostly what I’m actually learning in my own life, usually backed by psychology or research, always something you can use this week.

Let me show you around.

Here’s your 3 insights in 3 minutes.

🧠 1) Learn Build Share.

I often unpack a real resource or learning.

For example, I recently took a course (cut30) to learn short form video.

Last week I published a video on the rise of dopamine culture that somehow was seen by 500k people. Bonkers.

I went deeper on the rise of dopamine culture (something I’ve written about more here).

My brain, for instance, is wired for “progress dopamine” but everyone is different in terms of what feels rewarding.

It was helpful for me to compress this down to 3 verbs of what my brain naturally rewards.

You can check out the video here.

🗄️ 2) Favorite Frameworks

I love learning new frameworks and mental models.

But anything I share here… must first pass the test to be valuable enough for you.

Speaking of which, Caleb Ralston recently shared his 3 question test to share content:

I run my content through a similar lens, often using: what, so what, now what?

Another one I’ve found disproportionately useful when planning any new project or business is The MoSCoW Method.

Always with real examples from my life and templates you can copy for yourself.

đź’¬ Final Thought

I'll leave you with some food for thought before we go.

"The purpose of life is to discover your gift. The work of life is to develop it. The meaning of life is to give your gift away."

— Dr. David Viscott

Agree with the quote, but I’d add one thing. The meaning is to give your gift away while ALSO enjoying the ride!

Salud,
Mitchell

Ps. I like to put stuff down here too. Most often it’s a hilarious video.
PPS. Wanna get food?
