Took me WAY too long to do this

You know the prompt, "if you had unlimited resources how would you spend your time?"
Yes, cliche... but quite useful too.
See if I had unlimited resources, I know I'd spend more time connecting with people interviewing them on my podcast.
Step 1 of behavior change is awareness.
Step 2 is action.
And like Marshawn Lynch, this newsletter is “bout that action boss.”
Sooo I started small and committed to recording my first podcast interview last month.
Hired a quick video/audio editor…Then clicked publish last week!
🎙️ Podcast Interview
The first interview was with my friend Jason Wright.
Every time I talk to Jason I leave in a GREAT mood (and learn a few things).
Few highlights:
- Escaping Corporate America (bought first company at age 28)
- Goal setting and ability to say “why not do it now?”
- Pursuing a life (not a career)
🏆 Nobel Prize
You’ve heard of the Nobel Prize… but any idea how it started?
Yeah me neither. (it’s wild)
So this dude Alfred Nobel was a Swedish chemist and the inventor of dynamite. 🧨
But in 1888, after his brother died, the newspapers mistakenly printed Alfred's name.
The obituary read: "The merchant of death is dead"
This prompted Alfred to think hard about his legacy. So he changed his will in 1895.
He wanted his fortune to fund a series of prizes for those who create the "greatest benefit to humankind".
The Nobel Prizes remain the highest honor 100+ years later.
All because of a misprinted obituary.
Legacy is a powerful tool.
🔍 Motion vs Action
I think about this all the time. (then I stop thinking about it bc overanalyzing = motion, not action)
It’s a great framework.
Start with a simple t-chart to audit your week.
Have an epic week.
