Why Boom Cards save your sanity (especially during review weeks)

Hi teacher friend,
Hey teacher friend 👋
Quick Tuesday tip straight from the “I need this to work with minimal effort” department.
Why Boom Cards are a game-changer
Boom Cards are one of those tools that quietly do a LOT of heavy lifting:
- students work at their own pace
- instant feedback (no “I don’t know if this is right” panic)
- self-checking = less grading for you
- perfect for review, centers, early finishers, sub days… you name it
They’re especially powerful during review season, when engagement tends to drop and time is… fictional.
I wrote a full post about how and why Boom Cards work so well in real classrooms (not theory-land) — and there’s also a free Boom deck inside, if you’d like to try them out with your students before committing.
👉 Read it here: Boom Cards: A Powerful Tool for Teaching and Practicing Math
Quick heads-up: Hashtag Sale
Today and tomorrow my most popular Boom Card decks and bundles are discounted ($1 and half price) — so it is a great moment to grab:
- no-prep practice
- ready-to-use review
- activities students actually want to complete
If Boom Cards are part of your routine (or you want them to be 👀), this is a good time to stock up.
As always, thanks for being here — and if you have a favorite way you use Boom Cards in class, hit reply.
I genuinely love stealing good ideas 😄
Talk soon,
Enrica
