Countdown to Year-End: Smiles, Reviews, and Digital Discoveries in Math Class!
Apr 28, 2024 3:22 pm
Hello, fellow math enthusiasts!
As we approach the year’s end, I must confess that my enthusiasm is tinged with a hint of exhaustion. The days stretch on, each feeling like a week, and sometimes it seems like too much to bear.
But then, I’m reminded of the lighter moments, like the one in class the other day when I caught one of my sixth graders trying to measure the “angle” of their friend’s smile using a protractor!
It was a fun reminder that math can bring joy in the most unexpected ways.
We’re almost there, and as we focus on review in this final stretch, I’m happy to see my sixth graders enjoying the digital choice board I’ve created.

It’s been such a hit that I’m crafting a similar one for my eighth graders. I’ve posted it as a growing bundle on TpT, which you can find here. But act fast—the price will climb with each new topic I add, and I’m just about ready to introduce scatter plots and transformations.

May our days be filled with learning and laughter, right up to the last bell.
Happy teaching
