Hi, Strawberry fans,
Do you have a green beer hangover? I must admit my disappointment with St. Patrick’s Day on a Sunday. Restaurants and bars in Strawberry KY didn’t have parties, specials, or sales due to the holiday falling on a Sunday during Lent. Well, we will just have our own party, right? How about an ARC party? That’s right! The time has come to sign up for eBook ARCS of Marrying My Moth Lady: A Standalone, Monster Brides romance. Use the form below to join Millie May’s team and your copy will land in your inbox on 3/20. The book releases on 4/15.
Thank you to everyone who celebrated with the Monster Brides in the MDK Facebook group. We loved sharing about our series, playing games, and giving out prizes. I was shocked at the popularity of Millie May Moth’s game. The predictive index choices of what someone would do with a 2ft vibrating tongue were hilarious. If you missed the party, I have a link to our free sneak peek teaser collection for the next set of Monster Brides books below. Not only do you get a glimpse of Marrying My Moth Lady but Hooking Captain Teeth as well. (Yes, our favorite pirate himbo gets his HEA this summer!)
When is my next party? In the Monster Authors & Readers group on 4/18/24 at 8 pm EST. I hope to see you there!
Book Fairs!
While everyone is aflutter with Marrying My Moth Lady, I’m hard a work finishing Embracing My Chuchunya. Serik’s enemies-to-lovers story is so fun to write. Kaitlyn’s tirades are hilarious, as she is the penultimate coach potato and unimpressed with the Chuchunya life. It’s a sprint with Embracing My Chuchunya releasing on 6/12, Hooking Captain Teeth releasing on 7/15, and…Strawberry Shifters 5: The 5th Wheel…oh yeah, it’s going to be a hawt, hawt, summer.
Book Recs!
I've got something for everyone this month in Book Recs. Winter's Mother 2 is an epic fantasy for readers who love witch romances. Red's Familiar is a charity anthology with werewolf romances by various authors. Garland is a smoking hot alien romance. Mystic Shadow of the Spark is a dark, urban fantasy romance.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the poll last month on Dark Romance. Congratulations to Nicole who won the paperback books! I have 9 releases planned for 2025 and 3 of them are darker than my usual monster romances. They will still have all the hallmarks of a Marilyn Barr book – he falls first, she saves herself, scientists in love, and inclusion is the HEA…just a little darker. I better shut up or I will blow the surprise… Oh, what the heck! Here’s a clue to a new series where I will have two dark, historical, monster romances…
Blessed Be and Let Magic Find You!
