Hey Strawberry fan!
Welcome to the cover reveal extravaganza! This month’s newsletter celebrates the 99c pre-order of Quartermaster, the addition of Terpsichore’s Temptation to the Defying the Gods erotic romance series, and the unveiling of Strawberry Shifters Book 4: Rotten Apple’s cover! I’m so excited to share the secrets I’ve been keeping. These covers are gorgeous, and it’s been killing me to keep them to myself. The stories are half-bad either, LOL.
Did you check out the Mortar & Pestle books? Their covers were designed by Award-winning Fantasy Romance Author (and my bff) Sydney Winward. I love the shimmering gold of Quartermaster (perfect for tempting pirates). Not only can you see all the covers in the free preview book, but you can read the first chapter of all the books and travel through time with the Mortar & Pestle. Each book (even mine) is on pre-order for 99c, so grab your copies before they release next month!
On Valentine’s day, I teased you with my latest Hawaiian romance. If you loved Dreamcatcher, you will love this one. Terpsichore’s Temptation joins the paranormal erotic romance series, Defying the Gods as Book 8. This summer I am taking you back to Hawaii! Check out the gorgeous cover by Ascandare Book Covers. I love writing hot books and this one is a scorcher. Terpsichore is the Greek muse of dancing and a femme domme in this Hawaiian monster myth retelling. Here’s the official cover and blurb reveal!
Ding, time to work out. Ding, time to meditate. Ding, time for a wheatgrass smoothie.
Hawaiian hotel tycoon, Pika, has lived a regimented life since childhood. Is he meticulous, eccentric, or just stuck under his overbearing mother's thumb? Whatever the reason, his powerhouse strategies have gained him popularity, prestige, and wealth. He has it all but doesn’t allow himself to enjoy it.
When Terpsichore, the Greek muse of dancing, vacations at Pika’s home hotel, she challenges his way of life and introduces him to a new world of carnal delights. Unbeknownst to them, Pika’s rules and restrictions kept him from his family’s destiny, and indulging threatens his life as a human.
Can Terpsichore undo the damage to Pika or is she powerless against the curse of the sons of Kamohoali’i?
Not to be outdone by my side projects, the Strawberry Shifters Book 4: Rotten Apple is my first dark fantasy. It’s hot, it’s dark, and it’s Vampire King Ryan’s side of Go Scorch Yourself. If you loved Lucien and Betty’s tale but didn’t understand why Ryan acted so mean, Rotten Apple has the answers. It dives deeply into how the vampire alliance came about, Lucien’s parents’ history, Ryan’s terminal illness and final days alive, and Gran’s big secret. Gran can keep a secret for centuries. Let’s see if I can keep it until 6/7/2023, lol. You won’t believe how fairies become Sluagh and why they are sent to Strawberry in the first place.
Here's the official cover and blurb reveal for Strawberry Shifters Book 4: Rotten Apple!
Rose has loved Fae Princess Orchid since childhood. Helpless to stop Orchid’s exile to Strawberry, she vows to avenge her death. If she had one more day with Orchid, would she have the courage to confess her love? It’s too late now…or is it?
Vampire Ryan’s myelodysplastic anemia has caught up with him. He fights in the Winter Solstice Battle for an honorable death but instead finds Orchid. While she’s not his ideal mate, she does offer him a trip to Magmell, where she promises their healers can cure him. Will he switch sides in the war against the Sluagh for immortality?
When Rose and Orchid are reunited, their passion burns out of control, but Ryan has already left his mark and changed the trajectory of Magmell forever. Royal alliances are built and destroyed, leaving Strawberry’s future in the balance. In a tale of villains, who deserves a happily ever after?
BOOK FAIR EXTRAVAGANZA – TONS OF FREEBIES IN EACH ONE!
Aren’t these covers gorgeous?! As I transition from traditional publishing to my own business, my schedule is hectic. Thank you for---bearing with me. Wink, wink. A huge thank you to my Advanced Reader Team both on my private list and on BookSprout. I cherish each one of you and hope I continue to entertain you. If you are interested in reading my books for free, before release, and sharing your love of my works on review sites, you can sign up on Book Sprout or reply to this email with “I want to ARC read.” The best reviews are between 20-30 words. That’s doable, right?
You may be asking yourself why my books release at once with lots of weeks in between. It’s because I’m failing to balance the restrictions of my publisher and the needs of my multi-author series. But no worries, this transition is temporary. I love the freedom of self-publishing and can’t wait until I can schedule my releases in January and follow the list. I may be climbing over the seats, but I’m climbing into the driver’s seat. Thank you for accompanying me on the journey. It’s been wild and I’m so grateful.
Blessed Be and Let Magic Find You,
Marilyn
