Hey Strawberry Fans!

The weather in Strawberry Kentucky has taken center stage as we got our annual average snowfall in less than four hours. Combined with the holiday break, my family has spent a year’s worth of quality time together. My husband hasn’t stepped foot in his laboratory in a month. My little gremlin hasn’t visited his locker in three weeks ( I fear what’s growing in there.) Are you snowed in? Are you Snuggling Under Snow Drifts? I couldn’t resist the epic pun.

imageToday is the book birthday for Snuggling Under Snow Drifts Book 5: Forgiving My Chuchunya. Congratulations to Gleb & Hannah—the youngest couple in the Chuchunya Clan! To celebrate, Forgiving My Chuchunya will be 99 pennies for the next 24 hours, so if you missed the pre-order window, grab your copy today.

imageBeing an extroverted author, I love signing up for anthologies, charity events, book signings, and multi-author series of standalone books. You reap the rewards from my inability to turn down a social, writing opportunity. My latest adventure is teaming up with 50+ monster romance authors to bring you the Evil Hearts anthology. Releasing on February 1st, the proceeds from this anthology go to the Dollywood Foundation. My submitted story is Escape to the Briny Deep and if you guessed it is a pirate romance, you know me too well. But did you guess that the hero on the cover isn’t a Kraken…isn’t a shifter…but is a sentient octopus? Yeah, things get weird. You can read the unedited chapters on my Patreon this week or wait for the polished piece in Evil Hearts.

imageDid I mention I’m overloaded with multiauthor series? Clutching Cthulhu’s Pearls is the first installment of the Time for Monsters historical, monster romance series, releasing on 2/10/2025. While the darkness and heat level vary between the books, Clutching Cthulhu’s Pearls is a horror romance (erotic and so dark it’s black.) Thank you to everyone who signed up to ARC read my first horror romance, I’m so happy everyone has liked it so far. It’s with your feedback that I’ve decided to extend this book into a trilogy. Want to start the series at the beginning, preorder Clutching Cthulhu’s Pearls and see what all the fuss is about…

imageAnd now for the main event! On 3/15/2025, my next Monster Brides book will join the multi-author series…Spelunking for a Goblin Husband! This cover is by Kit Fox Art. Chloe is a tour guide at Mammoth Cave (about 20 minutes from my house in real life.) She’s hard at work when aliens attack and exterminate the human race while her cat, Mr. Meone, awaits her return. Starving and in need of her medication for Hashimoto’s disease (which I was diagnosed with in November), she ventures deeper into the caves and finds a world of goblins. Can she trust a goblin—one who gambled away his marriage amulet not to doublecross her, feed her to the aliens, or gamble her life to another goblin? After a trip to the Goblin Games, she wins his marriage amulet from his nemesis…but will she win his heart too?

This year will be wild with 11 new titles hitting your TBR list. This newsletter introduces the first 4, but 2025 is getting busy. I can’t wait to introduce you to mad scientists creating hucows, spider ladies looking for a mate (and their not picky about the species), pirates faced with beheading a satyr who’s become their friend, the end of the Chuchunya series with Book 6, and more! You know I’m terrible about keeping secrets, and I want to tell you all the things.

However, I never promise what I can’t deliver and last year’s health crisis put me to the test. Chloe in Spelunking for a Goblin Husband has Hashimoto’s Disease because I was diagnosed with it in November. Before I started my newest medicines, I felt like I was walking through sand. Everything took longer and was exhausting. (I get to complain through Chloe so I won’t do it here.) I’m excited to be my old self again and move forward with an ambitious schedule, but I’ll reveal it a little at a time as long as I’m healthy—like a stripper, lol. If I started with a bad pun, you know I had to end with one too!

Blessed Be and Let Magic Find You,
