Colour psychology

Using colour to transform your outlook

Hi ,

Be honest. When you open your wardrobe in the morning, do you reach straight for black or navy… because it feels “safe”?

It's okay, we all do it.

My clients all arrive at their consultations with wardrobes that are 80% those neutrals. It seems to feel professional, it seems easy to decide.

But it also often feels flat and misaligned.

Colour is a lot more than “looking pretty.” It’s psychology.

The colours you wear can change how YOU feel, how others perceive you, and even shift the energy you bring into a catch up or event.

Think about it:

  • Walking into a negotiation in navy immediately signals trust and authority.
  • Adding a splash of red can give you that extra edge of confidence when you need to be heard .
  • Even a subtle pop of yellow can lift your mood on a day you’d rather stay under the doona.

Colour is a silent strategy. It gets to work before you speak.

I unpacked this in my latest blog

Colour Psychology to Transform Your Outlook

If you’ve ever wondered why some days your outfit makes you feel invisible and other days it makes you feel unstoppable… this could be why.

And once you learn how to use colour intentionally, you’ll never “default dress” again.

Remember, your wardrobe is a tool for transformation.

Let’s start using it.
