Meet the Bachelors - again

Recipe rescues - Need Your Help
Hey ,
Wow, year end really snuck up on me. I scrambled to cover my butt for Hanukah, which slapped me in the face Thanksgiving weekend. I can't remember a year when it was so early. But I scrambled and xxx myself respectabily in the gift department.
Now comes Christmas, on the 25th as always, but somehow I am still scrambling to get those last cards in the mail. You know the ones where you have to call around to get an address you should already have. And last minute gifts. I especially hate the ones where I have no idea what to buy.
In my family we downplay gift giving on holidays but we love to suprise each other with little somethings we can offer for no occasion, just to say "I was thinking of you." Oh, if only I had saved a few of those for now!
The bachelors are making a comeback! I guess that means I need a new graphic for this section. Too bad. This one is so pretty.
Anyway, the Beguiling Bachelor novels are slated to leave Galatea in January sometime and I will again have the rights to publish them. Look for them on Amazon, for sure, and let me know if you want to see them on other platforms too.
I love these entitled, successful and too-good-to-be-true men. Turns out they have flaws, and secrets, too, but nothing the love of a good woman can't fix.
Speaking of fixing, my thanks again to Emerald Edits and Nicole for the fantastic job she did editing these novels. The stories are all the same, or mostly so, but the books are better. Trust me, or read them again.
Watch for the prequel, "Bewildered" in late January followed by "Bedazzled" for Valentine's Day. If you have friends who didn't read the series the first time around, make sure you tell them to keep an eye out for them and some exciting launch activities.
Looking for some great year end reads?
The Year End Steamy Sale and the Year End Romance Giveaway both start today! Here's your chance to nab some hot romance to sneak off and read when you get a quiet minute this holiday season.
Or in this case, stuff I hate!
Covid has cancelled my annual white elephant gift exchange and dinner and left me part of a dramatically smaller group for Christmas Eve. And without dinner!
I used to love to cook, but I have never made a feast for Christmas, not ever. I am taking a shortcut with a spiral-cut ham this year, assuming I don't eat all five pounds of it before the big day.
Here is my problem. What goes with ham for Christmas Eve dinner?? Is it still stuffing, like Thanksgiving? What about mashed potatoes or sweet potatoes? And what about the ubiquitous green bean casserole.?
Do you have a favorite holiday menu? A recipe that has been passed to you from your mother, and maybe her mother?
Are you willing to share?
After all, I share book ideas with you. Isn't it only fair?
Meanwhile, Gracie and I will be chowing down on ham, then taking a cat-nap or two, indulging in the famous Jewish tradition of Chinese food and a movie that on Christmas Day, and of course we will be reading and writing romance.
Michael will be stuck with the dishes, poor man. It's our deal, he cooks, I clean or I cook, he cleans.
May your holidays been filled with books, naps, great meals and better friends. See you in the New Year.
Happy reading and Happy Holidays!
