Welcome to August! ,

So many of my friends are heading out of town, grabbing the last vacation while it’s still summer in the Midwest. The warm weather will disappear overnight some time in September, it always does, and I will lament all the things I failed to do all summer.

One thing I will miss is summer fruit —peaches, cherries and plums. Oh, and watermelon!

What will I do to console myself? Read romance, of course!
