What a week I had! Chicago and it's inhabitants have come out of hibernation and are socializing in full force!. There were lunches and dinners and long walks. It was fabulous to see friends and family again, but hard on my writing schedule.

Messing up my schedule is particularly troublesome at the moment, because I have publicly committed to write 40,000 words for Camp Nanowrimo (nanowrimo.org). Why 40K? Because I estimated how many words it would take to tell my story for the upcoming Dark and Filthy Rich billionaire anthology and figured 40K would get the book finished.

This is a fun story to write, a fictionalized version of a tale a friend told me years ago that sounded so romantic. A stranger loaning someone their apartment, then falling in love with their new tenant. My version is full of excessive luxury and hot sex, but the concept is the same :)

I have indulged myself in art museums and modern art for the novel. The research slows me down, but give you a more authentic experience.
