Happy New Year, Insider!

Technically, it’s just another month, just another day. But mentally, if you are like most people, the new year signals a chance for a new start, a fresh beginning. It’s the time when every diet plan and piece of fitness equipment are advertising, because they know this is when people buy.

For me, the queen of shiny objects, it is about signing up for new webinars, new courses, new ways to improve my writing without actually writing.

But this year will be different. I have signed up to write, to honor my promise to you to release more books. Thanks for sticking with me during this lull and here’s to your success in 2021, whatever your goals may be.

I am weeks away from revisiting book two in the Double Dare series. Early feedback from Alpha readers promises a lot of rework, so don’t look for Avery’s story before spring. Likewise Cassie’s tale, which is incomplete still.

But for those of you who never read my first series, The Beguiling Bachelor series, watch for a relaunch of the series in late winter with new covers, and a completely rewritten book one. I promise, the elevator scene hasn’t changed 

I have always been a fan of Julia Quinn’s novels, but the series, produced by Shona Rhimes of Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal fame, blew me away. I binged the eight-episode series in two sittings only to rewatch the earlier episodes the next day. The costumes and settings are gorgeous, the story relaiably romantic and the chemistry burns up the screen.

Available now on Netflix, find a way to watch this ASAP. Consider it a xxxx Christmas gift to yourself.
