Valentine Love Fest
Keep Those Crazies Coming
February is for Friendship
Stuff I love: Kevin!
Hey ,
Happy Valentines Day, one day late!
Yep, the day dedicated to love, romance and chocolate came and went, but I didn’t send out my newsletter on time. Sorry, I didn’t mean to slip up, but I was celebrating Valentine’s Day and writing, and prepping for my launch next week, and well…sorry.
Romance readers and writers live for Valentine’s Day when authors often give away their books or create romance centric contests. In other words, it is a great time to be a romance reader.
And I am following the crowd, much as I hate to be a follower and not a leader. Starting today—I had to buck the system a little, right?—I am offering Bedazzled, the first novel in my Beguiling Bachelor series for FREE for the rest of this week! One way to find the offer is from this promotion site (sign up while you are there) https://fkbt.com/2023/02/15/free-discounted-kindle-books-for-wednesday-61/ .
You read that right. It’s free. And mark your calendars, because the next book in the series, Beholden, is only 99¢ beginning next Wednesday! That’s a lot of savings on red hot, Bachelor billionaires, sassy, smart heroines, and several hundred pages of sizzle.
Haven’t read the series yet? Now’s the time to start. Read the series? Tell your friends. Here’s a graphic you can post on Facebook or Instagram.
The Bachelors don’t get all the fun this February. Crazy to Believe launches February 21st exclusively on Amazon and Kindle Unlimited. Have you preordered your copy yet?
I want to help you be ready for launch day, and I hope you’ll help in return.
Here’s how I can help you:
· Have you read the PDF file I created introducing you to the Crazy Eights and four of their friends, likely to be the subject of my next series? If not, you can find it here.
· Next, download the free prequel to the All’s Crazy in Love Series, Crazy to Wed. Meet the Crazy Eights when they are in their late twenties, but already friends for twenty years! The series takes place ten years later, but this prequel kicks it off with a bang. It’s a short, fun romp of a novel with snark and support as only lifelong friends can offer, and a romance with plenty of heat. Read Crazy to Wed before you dive into Crazy to Believe. You’ll thank me.
· Finally, for those of you who read Dare to Hope, a novel I released several years ago, Crazy to Believe is a complete overhaul of that story. Still, you will recognize the characters, and the basic plot line. I never want to rip a reader off, so if you bought Dare to Hope, and you buy Crazy to Believe, send me your receipts (easy to recover in Amazon) and a reliable email address, and I will send you the next book in the series, Crazy to Dream. It’s only fair.
Here's how you can help me:
· Buy the book,
· help spread the word that it is available,
· then leave an honest review on Goodreads, Amazon, or Bookbub.
Speaking of Crazy to Dream, watch for it to be available for preorder when Crazy to Believe launches. Yep, let’s keep those crazies coming!!
It’s Billionaire February, with more than 50 contemporary billionaire books to warm a winter night, including a free Bewildered.
And of course, there's the free days mentioned above, and a launch in ONE WEEK!!!
In honor of February, I wrote a blog about friendship in romance novels. There is always a trusty sidekick, but my Crazies are about so much more. And that’s what I wrote about in “Love your Friends this February.”
This week on the blog I welcome author Sadira Stone here to introduce us to her latest romance Opposites Ignite. I love Sadira, who writes about quirky characters you’ll love. I also respect a woman who can live in Vegas and write instead of hitting the Casinos. I am not sure I would have the same self-control.
Here is my big question of the week: Will Kevin Costner leave Yellowstone? I have become completely addicted to the violent, western, television show and it’s prequels 1883 (I binged it in a single weekend) and 1923. I avoided the entire Yellowstone franchise for the longest time. After all, its gritty and violent and there isn’t a single really ‘good’ character in the show. But then I remembered how much I loved Game of Throne sand the same could be said for that series as well.
So I dove in and haven’t come up for air. But I knew the draw was Kevin, sexy, rugged Kevin with his gravely voice and boyish charm. Without him, would Field of Dreams have been the same? Or Bull Durham? Could Yellowstone be the same without him?
I think not. So I am torn…Do I begin Season five knowing they may rewrite the second half of the season to exclude Kevin? Do I give it up cold turkey?
Do you think they’ll get him to stay? Negotiations are in the works…
In the meantime, I suppose I could read – or write – a book :)
Happy reading,
P.S. Sorry again for the delay getting my newsletter to you. I haven’t been neglecting you entirely though. Have you been watching my Monday videos in the VIP Facebook Group? Join here.
