Last week was  a big transitional week for me. The weather went from spring to summer overnight, my writing kicked up into a high gear and I hired a professional editor for my books for the first time ever. It was a serious commitment to my craft. 

This week promises more action with the Launch of the Beguiling Bachelor Series on Galatea and the one-week only availability of the Writer’s Toolkit. 

Let me share some details

I am finally playing with launch dates for the beginning of the Double Dare series. My sincere gratitude to those of you who have asked for more, and to all of you for being patient while I dealt with the lethargy that came with the isolation I experienced – we all experienced – during the last twelve months. I am not sure what I did for a year, but I can admit freely, I didn’t write. 

But the vaccine arrived, Spring arrived, and my muse returned. There is so much activity now I can’t keep it straight. Fortunately, I have a wonderful new assistant, Kelly, who keeps things on track for me.

For the first time a professional editor will take their red pen to Dare to Hope. Then it will get a new cover and the revised novel should be ready for release in the autumn. If you are determined to read the first version, get it now. It will no longer be available after June. 

If I stay on track, two more novels will follow behind Eliana’s story, including Bethany’s story, which will bring back all of your favorite characters from the Beguiling Bachelor Series, and Avery’s journey from quiet and shy to…well, wait and see.

IT’S LAUNCH DAY! 

The Beguiling Bachelor’s series – all four novels – are available on the free Galatea app today! This move is exciting and scary for me. Leaving Amazon, behemoth that it is, is taking a big risk. Worldwide, over 80% of all books are sold on Amazon, and romances lead those sales. 

So why move?

• First, because many of you have been trying to support non-Amazon outlets. Me too. I am still sure to frequent local bookstores and I encourage you to do the same.
