Hey ,
Happy belated Mother’s Day! I spent my day playing Zoom Bingo with my family. Chaotic, but a total blast. If you haven’t tried it, I recommend it.
Are you living somewhere where things are attempting to return back to normal? Perhaps you see light at the end of the tunnel. We here in Illinois we are still sheltered in place until May 30th. To be honest, I am not in a hurry to get out and about – this virus makes me nervous, like the train coming at me through the tunnel. Besides, I am becoming quite adept at shopping on line.
Seriously. If you are like me, you thought you were a good shopper before. But, with two months of practice, I have reached expert level, searching for furniture and clothing and purchasing without sitting on a sofa or trying on a dress. So far, it’s working out great. I wish I could invite you to visit my redecorated condo but Ikea is not delivering anytime soon.
Is it just me, or do you agree that this may be a very dangerous new skill. PerhapsI should have studied French?
On the Double Dare Front
I know you feel like you are caught in a never ending loop but Dare to Hope is back in rewrites again! The good news is that it is a single chapter that needed to be added, and that is now complete. It will go back to proofing this week and I see the ARC team receiving early copies in June, or May if I am very lucky. Why all this rework? I am trying to introduce a lot of characters in one book, without confusing readers. It’s not as easy as I thought it would be. But I believe I’ve got the solution now and Dare to Hope progresses nicely at long last.
Hard on its heels are the next two books in the series, and some bonus content for my Insiders – that’s you. I just need to keep the focus and momentum that Coronavirus has made such a challenge for me. Are you struggling with focus? What tricks are you using to get back on track?

A feisty fashion mogul. A billionaire financier. One rule they can’t break.
Liz McKenna’s fashion business is solid. But she’s ready to take it to the next level. Bonnaire Enterprises has the capital she’s been seeking and all she needs to do is travel to London in the middle of December to seal the deal.
Kent is a money guy, and not just because he’s a born billionaire. The future CEO of Bonnaire Enterprises is ready to accept his new position when he’s served with a lawsuit instead. If he wants to secure his future at the company, he’ll have to take on a fake fiancée and keep his hands to himself. But when the gorgeous, feisty Liz becomes his newest client, he questions his priorities.
Behind closed office doors, Liz and Kent must choose between professionalism or losing their shirts.

Stuff I Love
With all the shopping I have been doing this week, I had to share two of my favorite shopping ideas with you. With money is tight for most of us, ways to get cash back or save on shipping can’t be overlooked.
First, have you signed up for Rakuten yet? Their ads have been all over TV recently, promising you cash for shopping. It’s really true. Rakuten will give you cash back for shopping online for just about everything. Seriously, you can shop at over 2000 stores and get cash back. So far, I have received 1.5% cash from one site, but 3% from another. If you like to shop online the way I do, this money adds up fast. Sign up today using this link and get $30 on Rakuten and me.
Second, have you applied for an Amazon store card yet? Not a credit card, just a plain old card good only for Amazon purchases. If you shop on Amazon, and you have a Prime membership, you get 5% cash back on most purchases. Five percent amounts to serious money if you buy books, pet supplies, clothing, furnishings, household goods, groceries and more. You can apply for your card at Amazon.com then sign up for this discounted offer on Amazon Prime so you get the cash back for shopping AND free shipping.
Stay safe and happy reading,
