Hey ,
I can't believe we are already halfway through January, but here we are. Time always moves too fast by the week, but sometimes too slow by the hour. Does that happen to you too?
Still, a lot has happened in two short weeks, guests visiting the Madison Michael blog, a new All's Crazy Book available, and my first contest of 2023!
I am so excited to share the news. Crazy to Believe is available for preorder today! Official release date is February 21st. But I am running a contest for you, my lovelies, and only you. Learn more about how to get prerelease eBooks of Crazy to Believe and the next book in the series, Crazy to Dream in the Happening Now section of this newsletter.
Crazy to Believe is a completely reedited and retold story of my previous novel, Dare to Hope. This is a story of a woman starting over, a sudden billionaire hero, and an office romance, one night stand. In other words, all the makings of a great romance.
But this is also a novel of miscommunication, lies and even espionage! Jobs and lives are on the line, threatening to tear our couple apart. Where’s our HEA?
Never fear. Our heroine is a Crazy Eight, with meddling, loving, best friends who will engage to win their friend her hero.
You will love this installment in the All’s Crazy in Love series, full of best friends, family, love, humor and maybe a baby?
Today is National Hot Buttered Rum Day. I kid you not. Do you have a great recipe to share, cause I could use a warm, spiked and spiced drink on a cold wet January day in Chicago. Or share it with the Facebook group. I’m sure we will all appreciate it.
Looking for a different kind of spice? It’s contest time!!
I am offering my Insiders a chance to win pre-release eBooks of Crazy to Believe AND the next book in the All’s Crazy series, Crazy to Dream. All you have to do is help spread the word about the All’s Crazy series and Crazy to Wed with your friends.
Here's how.
- Download your free copy of Crazy to Wed. Here's the link:

Do you have a secret talent?
Mine is procrastinating. Seriously. I have mastered the art of making todo lists as a method of not actually doing anything.
Another thing that’s maybe not a secret but I really want you to know: I’m pretty good at writing blog posts. I write about romance, romance authors, romance novels. Sometimes I write about billionaires and their lifestyle, and sometimes I write about being a writer.
Equally exciting? Sometimes I let other authors write on my blog instead, sharing their lives, their books, their view of romance.
This year I am trying to bring this focus on romance to the blog every week instead of monthly. That’s a lot more romance for you. Four times as much!
And I am inviting exciting authors to join me:
- Rachael Biggs, with her exotic tales of women in And I was Like November. Her work was new to me and certainly different. Her tales are not stories of the happily ever after.
- Kris Bock and her western themed novels will be on the blog next week. I love Kris’s work, so I am really pleased to have her visiting again.
- Coming in February? Sadira Stone and Caroline Clemmons, more Crazies and so many new and exciting romances.
Are you as excited about this as I am, ? If so, head over to the blog right now, for more about the scary commitments in publishing Crazy to Believe.
I was never a big fan of westerns. Or horror movies where I ended up covering my eyes during the scary bits. Sure, I love a well written romance set in America's West. Those wide open skies and sexy cowboys are perfect romance material.
But Yellowstone? I tried watching the popular series twice and gave up. Too gory for me, and not a single character I liked. But it starred Kevin Costner and damned if I don't find the man sexy at any age.
So I tried it again and I was completely, utterly, bingeingly hooked. Then it was 1883. I watched it in a weekend and cried my eyes out. Now I am waiting for the next episodes of 1923 with Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren.
Damn, but these shows are killing my writing, my decluttering ambitions and my social life. In other words, clear your calendar, figure out where you can watch, cause they are on multiple networks and its confusing depending on the season, and enjoy.
Happy reading,
