Welcome to February, known the world over as the month of Love and Romance. And isn’t it wonderful to take at least one month a year to celebrate love?

Of course, I’m focused on romance year round, but in a more professional capacity. What about my personal celebrations of love?

I am delighted to say I have a few things planned, including a short getaway to a cozy bed and breakfast to be pampered for a few days. My other romantic activity for February? I am releasing the second of the Beguiling Bachelor relaunches!

The Crazies are sadly on hold this month, but I feel Avery and Willow itching to get my attention and won’t wait much longer.

The Beguiling Bachelors have all my attention, proofreading and formatting and getting them uploaded and ready for release. In case you missed it, a fully revised Bewildered is available NOW and Bedazzled will be available next week, February 13th, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Here’s a peek at the new covers—similar but slightly updated. My Facebook banners and other social media are getting a new Beguiling Bachelor look too. Did you know that independent authors generally spend more than half their working hours on marketing, not writing? Right now, that number has jumped to 100 percent for me.

Can’t wait for it to shift back, although I must confess creating Sloane—the bitchiest heroine ever—was a joy for me. There is something about a truly evil character that is so much fun to write. Making her sympathetic was a challenge, but between her back story in Bewildered and her misery and redemption in Beholden, she really got to muck up the works for Wyatt. If you’re a Disney fan picture Malificent—someone you love to hate. Or think of the Wicked Witch of the West from The Wizard of Oz, and the redemption she got in Wicked. That’s my Sloane. I talk about her more in today's blog post, too.

It doesn’t hurt that I gave her two handsome heroes as dramatic foils. Poor conflicted Wyatt, the boy who has everything but his freedom, cannot stand up to Sloane, or his family, and Randall has demons of his own that must be vanquished to make Sloane his own. In Sloane I found a character to bring out both the worst and the best of my Beguiling Bachelor heroes. If you haven’t met her already, start here.
