Wow, August Already!
Every year I get to the beginning of August and wonder how the summer slipped through my fingers. This year is no exception.
Here is Chicago, it is critical to grab summer days and nights because they go by fast and winter feels like it lasts forever. A wise writer suggested creating 100 index cards at the beginning of summer and doing something summer each day and collecting it on the card before the chance is gone.
For me, I ate fresh corn and watermelon, I took walks and smelled the roses, but I better get busy if I want to wiggle my toes in the sand or attend an outdoor concert.

Perhaps you think I am ignoring the Crazies, but I swear I am not. I simply shifted my energy to the Beguiling Bachelor relaunch. And the results have been amazing!
I’ve done free weekends for three of the four books and Besotted will be free this weekend, allowing anyone who wanted to read the series without spending a cent! Why do that? It’s a way to give back, but it’s also a great way to attract new readers. Only time will tell if it’s a complete success, but I can say between 500-6000 readers have at least one of the books in hand. Hopefully, they love what they read and buy more!
Meanwhile, I am planning a bigger launch for Crazy to Wed, Crazy to Believe, and Way Past Crazy this fall, followed by two more All’s Crazy books by year end. If you haven’t met the Crazy Eights yet, download the free guide and get to know them now.

Yesterday was National Planner Day. No kidding! Who makes this stuff up?
Not me, but that doesn’t stop me from taking advantage of a deal when I see one, and this is a great deal if you use an annual planner. Living Well Planner is one of my favorites and the one I am personally using this year.
