Writing update:

I finished my drawings for P. tigris!

P. tigris is a short story (with artwork by me) for tiger lovers. It will also include tiger facts at each story break. Written for ages 8-18. I am looking for beta-readers and working on illustrations, and I hope to get it published on Kindle Direct Publishing and possibly Barns and Noble in October. It is part of my cat series Of Snow and Savanna.

I haven't got the official back cover designed, but here is a picture I plan to put on the back so you can get a taste of my style.

I'm also making good progress on my fantasy-allegory novel Magic, Ice, and Shadow and plan to finish the first draft by June 30th. You can find out more about it here.

I am super exited about the only community for young writers that I just joined. The process of getting in toke longer than I'd have liked, though, which leads in the. . .

I felt that I was falling

Into the dark unknow.

I heard His heart was calling,

Calling to my own.

But His voice I did not want,

His call I did not head.

I did not want Him in the front

I thought that I could lead.

But He chose not to leave me

Although my head was strong.

He would not let me be,

And showed me I was wrong.

So now I live for Him,

For He’s the LORD of Light.

My vision’s ever dim,

But He is ever bright.
