.
Hi ,
The days are not getting any slower - how is it in your world??
And by the way, how did we get to the beginning of March in 2024 so quickly??
Oh MY!!
Ok with time going so quickly it means our focus is so important - otherwise the time will go by and we don't know what happened or how we spent our most precious resources - our time and attention!!
What is important to you in a day?
- drinking enough water
- being loving to other peeps in your world
- getting a walk in your day
- making progress on your pet project?
Well I'm thinking that inner peace is also on that 'list':)
And I have an idea for a 'once day focus' on inner peace - it is so easy to have the days go by and realize we've not addressed what's actually important to us.
So my solution is to set a daily alarm for a convenient time in your day.
And I you think - there is not convenient time!! just pick one that seems like it might possibly work and you can adjust later - most important is to get started!!
It's your 'one a day' for inner peace - just take a minute or 2 or 5 - pop on a timer and commit to your focus for an inner peace practise for this short break.
Make up your own ritual for how you will spend that one or 2 minutes - yes that's all:).
My suggestions... and of course pls make up your own and its best if its meaningful for you personally.
- Start by placing a hand on your heart and really connecting there, then...
- Take 10 deep breaths, counted easily with your fingers OR
- Focus on parts of your body sequentially from feet to head and say in your mind ... 'relax toes' etc. - even this, to get to the head can be a great way to enhance focus and your inner peace OR
- Close your eyes to follow your breath and listen inside - just watching the thoughts go by like clouds - they come and they go
Yes just one - two minutes for inner peace in your day - its worth it!
Keep up your practices and be the even keel in the world.
Be the beam of love and light in your world that is your true nature.
