Inner Peace by Winnie the Pooh

Winnie the pooh honey, Winnie the pooh pictures, Winnie the pooh

Hi ,

Have you heard of the Tao of Pooh? Yes that's Winnie the Pooh on inner peace.:)

This excerpt is from the Berkeley Wellness Newsletter...

"In his 1982 book the Tao of Pooh, author Benjamin Hoff playfully introduces the ancient Chinese religion of Taoism to western audiences. Hoff presents the children’s book character Winnie the Pooh as an example of someone who lives according to the principles of Taoism (Hoff, 1982).

According to the book, Winnie-the-Pooh has inner peace.

Winnie-the-Pooh...

That's a great check list for how to garner more inner peace in your life:)

Which one of the above are you best at? (we all have our strengths:)

Which one would you like to be better at?

Which one could you practise before the day is out?

Which one could you even do now? in this moment.

Yes its a practise - would you love more inner peace?

Pick one of the above you'd like to practise for the next week.

Create your intention now.

For example,

'I create more inner peace in my life by... being more flexible ' (this your choice).

Yes its a choice. Its is a practise:) Repeat your intention twice a day so it can become a conscious thought and choice.

When you practise, the state of inner peace comes more easily. Just like a muscle getting stronger.

What I do know for sure is that Somatic Stretch® is an hour of inner peace while we hold our focus on our inner awareness and stretch by relaxing not releasing.

Come and join me for our Thursday Somatic Stretch® class

No doubt you'll be more peaceful, at ease, more flexible and less stiff.

Try a Somatic Stretch® class.

It truly is inner peace for mind and body.

I'll send a reminder on Thursday:)

It's easy, just wear loose fitting clothes and bring a cushion/pillow/blanket and settle in for an amazing experience of ease.

We stretch by relaxing rather than reaching.

We focus on the experience, not reaching for a goal.

Delivered by Zoom, our practise is done on the floor and can accommodate all sorts of bodies!

Meanwhile I am grateful for the opportunity to share these simple soulful solutions for inner peace.

Be the beam of love and light in your world that is your true nature.

And may peace be with you,

In gratitude,

Wendy
