As for this edition, I'll introduce each of these romantically monstrous titles with a review so you know what to expect!

Wed to the Lionman by Cara Wylde

This series is so much fun. I love a fated mates storyline and this one was just purrrrrfect! Lion man Caelum spurned by an ex lover, decides he wants more for his life he wants a perfect match. He goes to the temple with hope in his heart and waits to hear. In the mean time he rescues a young human woman in the forest from being harmed by others Nd can't forget her. Jade has always been a good girl, she works hard and keeps her head down because she doesn't want unwanted attention. She has no family just a few friends when she's chased into the woods one night her life changes. She is saved by a lion man but needs to leave her Village. she goes to the one place that maybe able to help her the temple. What she doesn't expect is to find her fated Nathan is the same lion man who has already saved her once! Will he save her again? You have to read and find out. This book hit all the right notes sweet, spicy and just enough danger and angst to keep you glued to the pages. Give it a try !πŸ’–πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ’–πŸ”₯🌟

Wed to the Lich by Layla Fae

Feel good storyline with a tint of darkness due to the dystopian world it takes place in- but completely free of anxiety and tension other similar stories can produce with the whole 'will he/won't he' trope.

The epilogues were the chef's kiss. Really loved the glimpse of their happy ending.

Would definitely read this author again- even tho it's a short read. I was having a bad day and wasn't sure about starting a story but this came across as a

cinnamon roll rec from one of my groups and it turned my whole vibe around.

Wed to the Bullman by Eden Ember

I love the concept of genetically matched mates that cross species lines. It surely played a part in this book as the mmc and mfc are brother and sister to another matched pair.

Vozak initially felt pressured to apply for a bride and Agnes applied in hopes to have a relationship like that of her sister’s and of her beloved romance stories of old. Of course, knowing that you could be half of a matched pair and actually becoming a well-matched pair are two different things. Despite the two of them meeting and knowing their in-laws, they both seem to have not realized that each is different than their sibling. Vozak is gruff and work driven, and Agnes is independent but still eager for a sweet and romantic relationship like that of her sister.

Luckily, after some communication, and good sex, lol, both are willing to put forth the effort into making the marriage work. Despite some disagreements and the need for cultural sensitivity, it becomes apparent that with time this will happen.

Will there be more Arranged Monster Mates?

Definitely! The preorders for the Christmas edition are already up, and we'll be bringing you Jack Frost, Krampus, and a dark elf with snowy, jinggly-bally vibes! I'm really giddy about my book - Wed to Jack Frost - because I already know what Jack will be like, and I can't wait to introduce him to you! He's this growly alpha male on the outside, but in the privacy of the bedroom, our boy hankers for some pegging. Which his sharp-tongued, bossy new wife will be happy to deliver. All amidst cozy, ginger-flavored found family vibes! You can already preorder the book on Amazon πŸ₯³

Current WIP and reading

I'm currently writing Thick Beef and having the time of my life 😁 I love badass FMCs with no filter, and even though Jude, the heroine in this minotaur spicy novella, starts off by running away from danger, she can be vicious, too!

OK, I'll tease you a little^^

β€œI’ll never let this thing inside me,” I say, panicking even as something hot and pleasant tingles between my legs. β€œYou’d rip me apart.”

He has the gall to fucking chuckle, his hips jutting closer until the wet, pulsing tip presses into me through my clothes. I whine, pursing my lips, and he leans closer, the smooth bone of his horn brushing my head.

β€œWe’ll work it in,” he says, voice dripping with desire. β€œInch by inch until you take it all like my good baby girl.”

He straightens and steps back with a satisfied look, gauging my reaction, and I finally have enough. I was chased, threatened, chased again, assaulted… And to add insult to injury, my fucked up mouth keeps salivating over the monstrous cock that I have no business being near.

β€œWhy do you smell like fucking gravy?” I ask and kick him right in that huge, swinging ball sack.

Want more of the gravy? Preorder Thick Beef to get it as soon as it's live (on October 10).

OK, quick vibe shift. We're going from sassy and ridiculous to dark and spicy. Ready?

As for reading recs, I started Honeysuckles by January Reyne and got sucked right in! This book starts with a bang (we are shown how the MMC becomes a monster, and it's not pretty, y'all. But if you like darker themes like me, definitely check it out!) and only gets better from there, so I definitely recommend it. I think I'll finish it over the weekend. The book calls to me right now!

All right, I think that's it! You'll hear back from me in a week, and in the meantime, I wish you all the cozy, spooky vibes! May your sweaters be soft, your tea hot, and your books spicy!

~Layla
