I've been away for a while, enjoying my well-earned vacation. Do you know that in May, June, and July, I worked constantly without weekends to reach my self-imposed deadlines? I'm not complaining since it's my fault, but yes, it was time to take a break.

We had a lovely time by the Polish sea, gathering seashells and playing with moon jellies. I came back well-rested, just in time to start writing Guarded by the Phantom. It's coming along nicely, but this email isn't about that.

Because it's finally the SPOOKY SEASON! And that means Halloween, my favorite day of the year, will be here soon.

If you were here last year, you'll remember the little edging exercise I did, releasing a trilogy of books with AGONIZING cliffhangers over the duration of October.

I won't do the same thing this year. Instead, I'll release the Ghosts of Halloween trilogy from last year as one volume including original art, both in ebook and paperback - though more in the paperback due to ebook file size constraints.

This new, shiny one-volume edition (that has a GORGEOUS cover, which I'll share with you SOON) will also include the bonus novella I wrote for this series. And since KU authors are forbidden from sharing the contents of their books elsewhere, I'll have to take down this free bonus story so it can be included inside the book.
