ARC schedule for the rest of 2025!
Sep 17, 2025 12:39 pm
Hey, !
This is a simple text email, no frills or pretty graphics, because I'm in the trenches of my own making, writing a book I had no business stuffing into my schedule this year. I love this book, don't get me wrong, but adding Prize for the King to this year's load means a lot of work.
By the way, please don't reply to this email unless you have an urgent question. I'm kinda scared of my inbox these days, and then feel super bad about avoiding it. Really sorry!
Anyway!
You're going to have 3 ARC opportunities from me before the year ends. If you got this email, you'll get those ARCs as soon as I make them available, and there's nothing you need to do. You're all set!
Let me just remind you of the rules:
- You choose whether you'll download and review a book, there is absolutely no pressure. Reading is always supposed to be fun, not a duty!
- No deadlines. I'll be super happy if you leave me a review before or around the official release date, but it's not obligatory.
- Don't share the ARC files anywhere.
- Oh, and I have no star requirements or anything like that. If you hate a book, put it in the review and one-star it, I won't kick you out (unless you're super rude but I believe no one in my wonderful ARC Team would ever do that to me!)
ARC SCHEDULE for 2025
First half of October: Prize for the King (coming out October 31)
This is a fantasy reverse harem romance with mild MM (no sword crossing, the males kiss at some point). Tropes: forced marriage between a monster king and a human princess, lots of juicy tension, one horse, one bed, one bath, sheltered virgin heroine; the king has three knights, and he shares everything with them, including his queen.
Very spicy slow burn. This book is LONG at around 500-600 pages, and it's a standalone. HEA, no cliffhanger. There will be more standalone books in this series.
End of October: A Very Killer Christmas (coming out November 12)
This is a contemporary dark romcom novella with a paid assassin MMC and an agoraphobic shut-in FMC. It's a bit over 100 pages, a delicious Christmas snack. Instalove on the part of the MMC, the FMC needs some convincing. It begins with a murder!
Spicy, of course. Sequel to A Very Stalker Christmas, which is on KU and on Audible if you haven't read it yet. All books in this series are standalones, though, and you don't need to read the first one to enjoy the second.
First half of December: Devil's Dance, book 3 in the Jaga and the Devil trilogy (coming out December 21)
For this one, you need to have read the previous two books. This is a trilogy following the same characters. If you've read one or both books already available, you know the drill and need no convincing to pick up the third^^
If you haven't read the first two books but would like to try before the third and final book comes out, be aware this is a dark fantasy romance with a morally black MMC who acts in reprehensible ways toward the FMC. The list of trigger warnings for the first two books is available on my website. Please, proceed with caution.
All right, I think that's it! Thank you for being on my ARC Team!!!
Lots of love,
~Layla
