Now heads up, because three more books will come out this month. Next week, Eden Ember's Guarded by the Chimera will go live, followed by my book, Guarded by the Snake (slithery, scaly, double-D goodness), and Cassie Alexander will finish this round with Guarded by the Spider. After that, another round of monster bodyguard romance books will come out in July.

I'm really excited about Guarded by the Snake because it's my first time writing a serpentine character - not a naga, but close! This bad boy is covered in scales from head to the tip of his tail and hides his impressive double equipment in a cock pocket. Though the thing I love the most about him is how he overpowers the heroine, wrapping around her in tight, powerful coils. Here, have a teaser^^

He yanked me closer until my cheek pressed into his chest. The bulletproof vest was hard under his T-shirt, and yet I didn’t mind, too focused on everything I felt being so close to him. Closer than I’d ever been before.

“Asan,” I breathed, looking up pleadingly. I was pressed so close, I could only see his long, muscular throat and the scaly underside of his chin. I didn’t know what I was asking for, only that a sweeping sensation I couldn’t control burned inside me. It burned so fucking good.

“Almost there, pet,” he said, lowering his face to my ear.

In Layla news...

I just came back from London yesterday! It was my first trip into the UK, and it was phenomenal. I attended a writers' conference but also spent a lot of time walking around the city and eating a lot of great food (with Cara Wylde, who is a wonderful friend and an excellent traveling companion). The highlight of my trip was going to see the Moulin Rouge musical at the Piccadilly Theatre, which I recommend! It was amazing.

Now, I'm finishing Guarded by the Snake to get it to my editor soon.
