Welcome to Layla Fae's ARC Team!
Apr 15, 2024 6:42 am
Hey !
Thank you for joining my ARC Team wait list! It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to my official ARC Team π
Now, I know you joined the wait list, but some time has passed since then and so I'd like to make sure you still want to be on the team. If you are happy to receive ARCs of my books in return for honest reviews, you don't have to do anything - I'm adding you to the official team right now. If you'd like to be removed, however, you can reply to this email telling me you're not interested, or hit the unsubscribe button at the bottom of this email.
You can unsubscribe or ask to be removed at any time in the future (though I hope you'll stay with me!).
Okay, with that out of the way, welcome! I am so happy to have you, ! There are so many fabulous books coming out this year, and I'm super excited you'll be one of the first to read them π
A quick reminder how this works:
- Every time there is an ARC available, I'll send you a download link so you can grab a digital copy. I'll do my best to provide ARCs at least a week before book launch. The ARCs are fully edited, so the content is the same as in the published books.
- You read the book at your own pace. You're free to DNF (not finish) if it's not your jam - I am perfectly aware I write a large variety of books and themes, and not every book will be for everyone.
- When you're ready, leave me an honest review on the platform (or platforms) of your choice, the main two being Amazon and Goodreads.
- I'd love to have some reviews go live on or before launch day, but I leave that up to you. You can review at any time that's convenient. You don't have to provide any confirmation.
Also, I know this goes without saying, but I'd just like to remind you that the ARC ebook is only for you. Please, don't share the file anywhere. I hope I can trust you, !
An ARC is coming...
Later today or tomorrow, I'll send out download links to the ARC ebook of Wed to the Basilisk! It's my final contribution to the Arranged Monster Mates series and also a standalone like all books in the series. You don't need to have read any previous titles to follow this book easily.
Wed to the Basilisk comes out April 24 on Amazon, but the paperback will be likely available earlier, so you can review when you're done reading - I will send you a reminder when the book is live so you don't have to remember the date.
You don't have to download this ARC if this isn't a good time to commit or if you know this book isn't a good fit for you. Below, I provide some information about the kinks and potential triggers so you know what you're getting into!
Like all Arranged Monster Mates books, it's a standalone based on the arranged marriage trope. We have a monster MMC, a virgin human FMC, forced proximity, and spice. It's around 250 pages long.
Below, I list the important things to know about the content and potential triggers that might be a bit spoilerish - so you can stop reading this email now if you don't feel the need to read the trigger warnings. I did my best to keep spoilers to a minimum.

MINOR SPOILERS BELOW
Potential triggers: abusive ex, verbal and physical abuse (from the ex), a brief moment of suicidal ideation, memories of gaslighting and manipulation, death and murder on page, species extinction.
There is pregnancy in the epilogue.
Kinks: primal chase, breeding, double penetration.
I want to assure you our MMC is sweet, protective, and would never hurt the heroine even if he has no compunction about slaughtering anything and anyone that threatens her. Hope this content note was helpful!
Once again, thank you for your interest in joining my ARC Team! I'm delighted to have you and hope we'll have an amazing time together πThank you so much and I'll be in touch later!
Love,
~Layla
