I've just gotten up after a 1,5-hour nap and since my brain is kinda working again, I wrote you an email! But thing is, I'm really tired recently. It could be the fall, an infection, all the sleep I lost rereading Lily Mayne's Monstrous series at night (SO WORTH IT) or simply the fact I recently wrote so many books - more than I've ever written in a relatively short period of time.

The end is in sight, though! For me AND for you - especially if you fell down the Ghosts of Halloween hole and suffer from the Cliffhanger Syndrome (a real condition, I swear).

So first things first.

Carved comes out on Tuesday

The second dark, spicy installment in the Ghosts of Halloween series comes out in a few days! This book is a bit longer than the first one and will answer most of the burning questions you have left after reading Jacked. There is also so much dark, unhinged spice - and sexy scenes with more than two players actively using their parts. Ahem.

If you read book 1, you probably read the TWs, but I'd just caution you here about extreme pain play. Our MMCs ride the edge between caring for Harlow and hating her, and they ride it HARD, all right? Book 2 shows just how extreme this dichotomy is.

Jack's 2-year anniversary is tomorrow!

Soooo, I just checked out of curiosity when exactly Jack was released. (You know, Jack. The Halloween monster erotica classic with PSL-flavored essence. And four balls. And a vibrating dong. And a Jack-o'-lantern as his head. Yeah, THAT Jack.) As it turns out, the book went live on October 14, 2021!

I think it's a good enough reason to give this pumpkin-spicy little monster gem a reread, don't you think?

Some personal reading and writing updates

I'm currently writing Gutted. It's supposed to be ready on the 20th so I can send it to my editor, so I'm working hard to give our amazing characters - and you - the perfect ending. What will it be? Well, I obviously can't tell you, but I'm convinced it will be 100% satisfying and worth the journey!

After the book's done, I think I'll kick back for a while and just enjoy you all freaking out *insert evil laughter*

No, for real though, I'll just hole up with a ton of books and maybe bake some bat-shaped cookies with the kiddos.

And as for reading, you already know I'm deep in Lily Mayne's Monstrous series, which I believe is the most perfect masterpiece ever written, especially book 5, Moth. I'm currently reading A Collection of Monstrous Short Stories (Volume One) which is just so cute and adorable and makes my cheeks hurt from smiling. The fact that it's called Volume One gives me hope for Volume Two.

I'm also waiting for Moth to come out on audio - which will be soon, October 17! I can't wait to explore this book through another medium.
