I'm building my ARC team!

Hey !
Today, we're straight to business so you can click and be done if you want to be on my ARC team - and if you're interested in my current WIP and other things, you can keep reading. But first things first!
Join My ARC Team
For the sake of clarity, ARCs are advanced review copies, i.e. free copies of books given out by an author or a publisher before the actual launch of a book to help gather reviews that will bolster the book as it goes live. Some (usually traditional) publishers give out physical copies. I will send out free ebook copies that will be proofread and edited, so the content will be no different from the text of the book that will go live on Amazon. The formatting of the actual ebook file, however, might differ slightly. If you've ever received an ARC, you know the drill.
I've used Booksprout for ARCs and WILL CONTINUE to do so, so if you get my ARCs from Booksprout, you can still do so. I'll make new ARC copies available there, as well.
I'm just opening this avenue for more readers, as my Booksprout plan only allows me to send out 50 copies. Now, a few things:
- I'll close sign-ups after we get to 100 ARC readers because any more will not be manageable for me. I'm a team of one for now.
- You'll get a free copy of each new book I release before it goes live. No strings attached! All I want in return is your HONEST review. Seriously, you can give the book a 1 star rating, and as long as you provide a clear, respectful critique of why you rated it that way, you get to stay on my team. Maybe the next book will hit the spot better, right?
- You can review the book on Amazon or Goodreads. One review on the platform of your choice is enough to uphold your end of the deal.
Ready? You can sign up through the form HERE. After you sign up, you will be added to my mailing list just for my ARC readers. Through there, you will receive emails with download links for the ARC copies. If anything in this process doesn't work out, I might change something, but generally, I'll strive to keep everything as easy and fun as I can!
My Current WIP
And now, onto the updates! I'm currently writing Devil's Deal: A Dark Fantasy Romance. It's exciting and a bit daunting because this book will be a long one, and it's also based on Slavic mythology and folklore, which is very close to my heart. It's surprisingly challenging and revealing to write about a topic that's so dear to me! I feel like I'm baring a lot of myself with this book.
That said, it is also a fantastic adventure. And I have a little something to show off already! First, some art.
(The image shows a demonic, looming silhouette of an antlered shape standing in a burning fire.)
And now, a snippet! This is unedited, raw material straight from my brain. You're going to meet the MMC.
“And that’s… Oriel.”
My voice doesn’t break as I say the unfamiliar name, even though it stings my tongue as soon as I pronounce it. As if the very name itself is a weapon and a warning.
For a moment, I convince myself it can’t be true. Words do not sting or hurt.
But then, I taste blood in my mouth.
“Bold of you to say his name,” Niya says with a laugh, looking over her shoulder at the dark, antlered shape.
As she does, I realize with a jolt the shadowy mist finally falls away, revealing his head. I stare, unable to look away, unable to blink, even as my eyes sting with the very same pain that his name cut into my tongue.
“Careful or you’ll bleed,” Niya warns, but I don’t listen.
Primal terror seizes my body, rooting me to the spot. My limbs grow numb as a bone-chilling cold spreads from my feet up, through my pelvis and stomach, to my hands and face.
When I try to blink, I can’t. My eyes sting and something warm trickles down my cheek, but I can’t close my eyes. I can’t move.
I can’t look away.
He’s enormous. I think the shadows must have hidden his true bulk, because now he towers above me, terrifying and huge, like a tree, except he is no tree. There is no color to him, no life, only menace twisted around him like clothing.
This is a dark fantasy romance, and our male lead is demonic, cruel, menacing, and very lethal. There won't be any non-con in this book, but there will be cruelty and dub-con. I'll publish the full list of triggers after I'm done writing, but those two are the biggest ones for now.
If you're fine with those triggers and intrigued enough to want to read this book as soon as it goes live, I encourage you to preorder it on Amazon.
That's it for now! Remember to sign up to my ARC team if that's something you're interested in, and in the meantime, stay safe and horny!
