Now for my secret!

I was convinced Guarded by the Phantom was going to be my last addition to the MSA series, because I have so many other projects (mostly in the fantasy romance genre) that I am dying to write!

However, I was so impressed with what Cassie did in Guarded by the AI that I couldn't help but want to join in the fun! You will get one more monster bodyguard book from me 🥳

AI has been a part of my publishing process for years now. Various AI tools assist me in creating my marketing assets (those juicy Instagram reels, for example!) and they've been a source of constant joy and delight for me.

While I don't use any AI tools to write, because my creative process is very specific and wouldn't benefit from them, I do use AI software as a visual aid. And since I absolutely love everything it has done for me, it hurts me to see that software and tools be so misunderstood and slandered. I want to express what they mean to me and how I see them.

Which is why I'll be writing one more Monster Security Agency book next year - and it will be called Guarded by the Clanker. (If you don't know, clanker is a slur used to denigrate AI tools.) It's going to be a forced proximity romance between an FMC who has a very good reason to hate all AI-powered tools and robots, and a cyborg whom she is forced to take on as her protector.

The cover and description will be revealed next year, and the book will come out around March. Stay tuned!
