What are the important things we should keep in mind for system discussions with new potential bridge partners?

Of course, Pam and Graeme are both respected and well-known New Zealand bridge teachers and players - both with popular weekly classes at learnbridgeonline.com - but they have never played together before. In a few weeks, they will be partnering in a tournament for the first time and we thought it might be helpful and interesting to be a fly on the wall as we listen to their system discussion as they decide their conventions, discards, and signaling.

This video is a bit of an experiment as most of the videos we share are made for us learners and this simply captures a functional conversation, one they actually needed to have with each other. It runs a bit long and perhaps some of it might be a bit advanced, but we hope it also might be interesting and/or helpful. Please let us know what you think!
