The most famous hand in bridge - with Jack Stocken
Oct 06, 2022 9:51 am
Hi ,
Why is Jack in a tuxedo? We're back with another challenge hand we think even non-bridge players might be able to enjoy. This time our challenge might seem equally simple at first glance: we must win EVERY trick! (When you see how many aces and kings we're missing, this might seem less simple.)
Those who already know how to play bridge might recognize this hand - after all, it is the most famous hand in bridge. Do you recognize where it's from?
We'd be so grateful if you shared this hand with your non-bridge playing friends. We'd love to hear if it does in fact make sense to those who have never played.
You can play the bridge hand using this BBO Handviewer link. Leave a comment or a question on the Youtube video here: https://youtu.be/sDjXuSWsa5A
Still time to invite friends to our two free introductory lessons!

Some of you asked some good questions:
- These lessons will be suitable for new players anywhere. The different bidding systems will not be introduced in these first two lessons.
- No worries if you are unable to attend live at 11am, UK time. A recorded video will be shared with all who have registered.
Your help in helping introduce bridge to new players is very much appreciated!
