We end up in a 4♠ and when dummy comes down, we count five potential losers. How should we plan our play when we realize we aren't going to make our contract?

Should we play conservatively to minimize the chance of more losses? Or should we be willing to take risks to lose fewer tricks than other tables might?

I had the rare chance to see one of our LBO teachers in person this last weekend! Graeme and I met up in Tokyo and found ourselves at Sometime, one of the loveliest jazz bars either of us have ever visited.

I had forgotten how hard it is to get Graeme to smile for the camera. Next time maybe we can all meet up there and someone can tell him a good joke first! :)
