What are Cuebids in response to a takeout double by partner? They often show a hand with 4 cards in each major, or sometimes a good hand with no clear direction. It’s basically asking partner for more information, while being reassured that the cuebidder has an invitational hand. It keeps the bidding low and you collaboratively find where you want to play.
