Hi ,
I've been looking forward to sharing this video... I called Marla up with a question about whether we should let the opponents have a 2♠ contract or if we should bid even with a very weak hand. The real fun starts when we find ourselves in a 3-level contract with five likely losers. Do we have any chance of making our contract? I almost titled this video "Every Hand is an Adventure" because this one took us on a wild one! I hope you'll join us. Leave a comment on the video here: https://youtu.be/-P76ZUkWzGI
How wonderful to see so many people registering for Thursday's free livestream lesson with Jack Stocken! A number of folks have asked: while we hope you can attend live, please don't worry if you aren't able to as we'll share the recording with everyone later.
If you have any friends who might be interested, we'd be so grateful if you forwarded this email so they can register below. Thank you!!
Yours partner in learning,
Bajir from LBO
All are invited to a free upcoming livestream lesson:
Forcing or Non-Forcing? with Jack Stocken
Would you mind sharing this email to any friends who you think might be interested in joining us for this free bridge lesson?
Presented online Thursday, 17 November at 9:30am, UK time.
Join live and/or watch via recorded replay.
Some more details from Jack about what he has planned for us:
"I will discuss many different bidding sequences and the students will be asked which bids are game forcing and which are non-forcing, so plenty of scope for interaction. We will also look at bids that are forcing for just one round.”
"I heartily recommend Jack Stocken.....clear and correct and very watchable (learnt a few things myself .. !)"
Zia Mahmood - World Champion & Bridge Legend
"Jack Stocken is a bridge teacher, par excellence, as many will testify"
