Look at the hand below: should we play it safe and take the ♣K sure winner and make our contract? Or should we try a finessing the ♣J for an extra trick (but at the risk of going down)?

In this video we recorded last year, Adam Parrish shares a hand that illustrates a common conundrum we face when playing: when should we play more conservatively and when should we risk more to win more?


With matchpoint scoring, the difference between making three tricks vs four can end up making a huge difference in the results. So, how greedy should we be?
