Following up on her series of videos about the Rule of 20, the Rule of 15, and the Rule of 22, Antara is back to help us understand the rule of 44 in bridge! Watch the latest and then scroll down to review the previous videos.
These principles here were proposed by Marty Bergen, even though he never named it “Rule of 44”. It’s a neat and easy way to remember though – when you have a strong hand, count your losers and quick tricks. With a maximum of 4 losers and a minimum of 4 quick tricks – open your hand with 2C!
