Does this bunker have a fire escape?

Welcome to the Bunker
(We got fun and games)
There's a beach in Delaware that has, among its other historical artifacts from WW2, the remnants of old army bunkers. I visited recently and was reminded that it was the inspiration for one of the settings in the eponymous Wizard's Bunker.
I'm always intrigued by interesting settings and go out of my way to figure out how to put my characters into different locales. After all, setting is one of the most enjoyable parts of fiction. In some mystery novels, the plot is just the tortilla chip that ferries the delicious setting to your mouth. In the sub-sub-genre of "memoirs of people who bought and renovated houses in exotic locales" there isn't even a plot. It's all about the setting. You read those books because you want to immerse yourself so deeply, you can smell the ocean breezes and taste the espresso.
"Plenty of fire escapes" should not be considered a company perk. (Wide)
Did you enjoy this book? I'd love your ratings and reviews.
But my characters don't get to eat fresh zucchini and take in the view on balmy Italian countrysides. No, I wanna be mean to them. They get bunkers and mines and haunted trailers!
Every time I'm in a new location, I always scout out the exits. I know where the stairwell is. I'm sure if I ever went on a cruise, I'd be the one who could tell you where all the lifeboats were. Being an anxious person means always thinking about how things can go wrong. Being a novelist means making sure the wrong things happen.
This week's question: Is there any setting you'd love to see in a novel (but haven't yet?)
PS. Dryad's Blade is now available on audio. It should be on audible now and extended distribution within a few weeks. Witch's Jewel is already available.
