What kind of story do you like?

A simple plan involving magic, vampires, and a psychotic warlock.
Sorrow's Apprentice: As fun as that famous heist movie, but with more women (and vampires.)
Sorrow's Apprentice was one of my favorite books to write for the simple reason that it's a heist plot. I even did research for this in that I watched Ocean's Twelve just to make sure that I had the whole heist thing down. Organizing a heist let me throw together a bunch of people who otherwise couldn't stand each other, let me highlight just how powerful Kit has become, and of course I adore plot twists and turns. And hey, there's even a scene in Las Vegas!
A reader asked if Vampire's Pawn is going to be the last book in the Kit Melbourne series. Nope! If you've read Vampire's Pawn you know that Kit's life takes a sharp turn and the adventures she had as Dayrunner to Holzhausen are over. But that doesn't mean her adventures are over. It just gives me more flexibility.
I'm currently working on Kit Melbourne book 10. It doesn't have a title yet. I'm still trying to figure out what kind of a novel it's going to be. More horror or more heist? Subtle machinations or glorious fight scenes? I don't even have names for the two vampire warlock bad guys; they're currently called [Name1] and [Name2]. I do know a few things I do want to include: a liger named Kitty, a pot-farmer who does kulning to call her alpacas home, a jury-rigged septic tank, a pre-pubescent shapeshifter tomboy, and a beer-swilling ghost. I just love ghost stories; I can't help putting ghosts in my novels lately.
Got an boss you hate? An ex whose name comes up on your phone as "do not answer?" Tell me a ghost story (preferably a true one that happened to you) and I'll let you suggest names for my bad guys.
Jacqueline spent her life as a fille de sang, blood girl, until a vampire changed her into the thing she hated the most. Now as a vampire, years later, the one she fears the most will seek her out. Can she stand up to the one person who could ruin her life? 99 cent standalone novel on Amazon.
Las Vegas’ new glittering jewel is a zoo with a difference. Come face-to-face with specters; watch phantoms soar through their enclosures; or dare to walk through the banshee tunnels. It’s a popular attraction – until a radical group of animal extremists try to liberate the beasts … and hell is unleashed.
