I know a lot of people have told you that creating content and posting these content daily on your social media, website etc is the best marketing strategy to get customers.
True.....
Content works like magic.
But what if I tell you today that there is something more important than creating content?
CONTENT IS NOT KING
REACH IS KING
I heard this first from Vusi Thembekwayo, and really... It makes a lot of sense.
Let me show you an example...
Look at what is happening with Dandizzy right now.
This guy has dope content, mad freestyle but not enough reach.
Recently, he went to shoprite to freestyle, he also went to a bus park in PH to freestyle.
Tunde Ednut and other people posted him.
Boom!!!
Everyone is saying they love this guy, his social media handles are booming with more followers.
The reality here is, Dandizzy didn't just get 'good'
Nahhh...
He has always been good, he just didn't have enough reach.
Hope you get the point now???
WHAT SHOULD YOU LEARN FROM THIS?
Find possible ways to increase your reach. Put yourself out there for people to see.
Don't settle for 10 likes and 100 followers.
I know this seems like an achievement when you're just starting... but you NEED TO DO MORE TO GET YOURSELF OUT THERE.

If you create quality content then you should give that content quality reach
2 WAYS YOU CAN INCREASE YOUR REACH ON SOCIAL MEDIA
1. HASHTAGS: This is of the best ways to reach people especially on Instagram and twitter. For websites or blogs, you need to make good use of tags.
2. SPONSOR YOUR POST: Try to run Facebook or Google ads for your content.
There was something I saw one day on Twitter, A guy posted a tweet applying to work for Davido.
Then this guy did something very brave.....
HE SPONSORED HIS TWEET to reach that will help him retweet and tag Davido.
Immediately he got a Job from another person even if it wasn't Davido.
If he hadn't done that, he wouldn't have gotten any Job.
What I'm I trying to say?
Sponsor that your content to reach new people so people know you exist and know that you do what you do.
Hashtag are great for Organic reach while Sponsored post are great for paid reach
A COMBO OF BOTH CAN WORK LIKE MAGIC AND GIVE YOUR CONTENT ADEQUATE REACH.
