So when people use this "garri" line and small business owners join them.
In my mind I'm thinking...
Does this one know what he is saying?
Are you garri?
Is garri you?
You is garri?
Garri is an essential commodity
You are not
Your product is not
I can do without you and your product
Meanwhile....
You should try branded garri and see if you won't need advert.
Advertise or die!!!
So back to my garri gist.
I felt hungry yesterday morning and I rushed to warm soup and boil water
if you don't know, garri and soup is my best food...
After warming the soup and all, I found out that garri has finished.
So I dashed out quickly to get garri from the market.
It was drizzling...
Then we started feeling the rain.
By the time I got to the market, every one covered their food items with nylons.
Making it impossible for me to see what they were selling.
I had to walk down....deep inside the market to see a woman who simply used a big umbrella to shield
herself from the rain, but her garri was open.
It was visible, So I bought it.
So...garri no dey advertise abi?
What's the possibility that someone will leave 200 other garri sellers to buy your own?
Visibility and positioning.
There goes your business lesson.
Before customers come to your business
they have to know that you exist
and the way that they know you exist is by getting attention.
If people don't know you exist, they can't buy from you.
If they don't know you, they can't pay you.
If you would succeed in this business world
You must learn to get attention.
