Student success story!

Chloe the Capybara...

Hi!

Sometimes, the things that make us different are the very things that make us special.

That is the heart-warming message behind Chloe the Capybara & the River of Friends, a beautiful new children’s book written by Mark, one of our former adult learners.

Mark developed the story while completing our How to Write a Children’s Story course. With the skills and guidance he gained along the way, he went on to create and publish the book himself—and it is now available on Amazon.

Set in the peaceful Sunny River Wetlands, the story follows Chloe as she learns that she does not need to change to fit in.

It is a gentle adventure about friendship, kindness, courage and celebrating what makes each of us unique—perfect for bedtime, shared reading and young independent readers.

If Mark’s achievement has inspired you, you could be next.

Our free How to Write a Children’s Story course is perfect for beginners and will guide you through the process of developing your own magical story from absolute scratch. You do not have to believe you are ‘creative’, just a willingness to learn – that’s it.

The next course begins in January and takes place on Thursdays for 12 weeks during term time, from 9:30am–2:30pm. Places are expected to fill quickly.
