Hi!

I've been a bit quiet lately since I haven't been writing. Still, I'm trying to organize my time so I can write and finish a new book soon. I'm thinking about finishing book 2: Mermaid Blood, which follows Mermaid Queen's plot but with Mirella's sister. Meanwhile, Mermaid Queen is wide and 99c in several retailers for a promo that I'm running with other authors, so if you never read this sweet, steamy, and feel-good fantasy story, this is your chance. :)

If you have no idea, I'm a huge Hans Christian Andersen's fan. I always cried my eyeballs when the mermaid would transform into foam at the end (yep, I know there's a Disney adaptation with a happier ending, but somehow, the end felt adequate.) After all, the prince was just a man. The mermaid couldn't talk. So recreating the story with a werewolf and creating a language barrier instead felt more fitting. We love fated bonds, don't we? It's the romantic in us. So, when I had the idea of writing a retelling of The Little Mermaid, a grownup version with lycans and merfolk, I eagerly immersed myself in the story and it has suffered a few improvements over the years.

Who would know that Mirella's sister would also get her own story? Still, it's only fitting, since our blonde hothead reminds me a bit of Jessica. The Vampire Prince is also very brooding and I just love how she barges into his life and turns it upside down. Well, I guess you'll need to wait a bit longer to read it. :)
