👋

Hi!

I hope all is well with you. It's been a while since I wrote a proper newsletter. Work life has been busy and writing updates are non-existent. I thought I'd had a calmer summer, but apparently I was wrong. At least, I'm making money to pay the bills. And buy ice cream. That's a plus.

With the free time I got, I fell into the rabbit hole of Supernatural. I'm rewatching the series. It had been a long time since I watched it. I ran out of K and C-dramas to watch, the other American series weren't catching my interest, so I was like... why not? I can stop whenever I want... yeah, not. I have a serious addiction, to the point that if I can't sleep, I just watch Supernatural until I'm numb and can't keep my eyes open. I'm also following The Boys. It's a train wreck that I can't stop watching. It's weird. But it's good. And it's so on point with most of the things happening. Not sure if the writers are geniuses or sadistic people. I also watched Gen V and can't wait for season two.

In other news, I'm thinking about rebranding my Vampire Courts Series to an object cover. I'm going to keep the original covers as interior cover art for when I create the paperbacks. I'm thinking about having some special editions made, I just need time to think about what artwork I want to add. I have some I commissioned that would look great. I might even release another book in the series and see how that goes. It's mostly written and some of you might have read it when it was part of a box set, but I want to write more chapters and give more protagonists to some of the characters that were introduced in book 3 and 4.

Mermaid Blood is still a work in progress. And Chosen Mate is currently on hold until I can write a few more chapters.

Before I leave you, I have a few reading suggestions and I'm also sharing an awesome giveaway. If you love pretty paperbacks and swag, then you shouldn't miss this opportunity.

Have a great week!

All her life, Eala Duir, a young college professor, has skirted the edges of a fantasy world.

Visions of folk stories coming alive in hearth flames and vivid daydreams where carousel horses ride off to battle, drove Eala to pursue an academic life specializing in tales of the Fae.

When a cryptic message in her grandmother’s will sends her to Ireland, Eala clashes with Sionnach Loho, an attractive, enigmatic local expert on folklore. After witnessing Eala’s encounter with a ghost girl at an allegedly haunted castle, Sionnach reveals his own ties to the Fae realm. He insists Eala’s ability to connect with the supernatural proves she’s been sent to partner with him and fulfill a centuries-old otherworldly quest ordained by the mighty Finnbheara, King of the Connacht Fae.

As folktales and faeries collide with Eala’s reality, she must decide whether to embrace the fantastic or flee back to the safe and predictable life she thought she always wanted.

The legends were wrong. King Arthur and his knights were never the good guys...

I’m not the first Guinevere in my family line, or even the tenth. I’m just the newest one. I’m not special. Everyone I know has abandoned me, except Grandma Gwenny, who raised me. And now she’s gone, too.

When my beloved grandma’s final act leads me on a wild hunt across oceans, I never imagined I'd end up in the mythical realm of Camelot.

Except this Camelot isn’t like any of the legends I’ve read about. It’s dark, dangerous, depraved. The land is cursed. Rebellion is afoot. King Arthur and his knights are wicked brothers… and these brothers share everything.

A girl could get lost here. Hell, I might want to get lost here.
