Dear readers,

Welcome to this week's edition of FYFY. I'm Dom, your guide on this journey, where we'll delve into transforming purpose into reality and unlocking your potential. My mission is to empower 21,000 European thinker-doers by 2025 to leverage exponential technologies and impact a billion lives by the end of this decade.

In this issue, we'll be navigating two key topics:

  1. Our Open Source Health Wallet Initiative
  2. A whirlwind recap of an exciting week in AI

So, let's set sail! Ready? Good.

The Open Source Health Wallet Intiative

Kicking things off, I'm thrilled to share some fresh insights straight from the Idea Camp at TH Rosenheim. Here, we've been innovating, challenging the norms, and redefining what's possible in healthcare.

At this event, five dynamic teams, all united by a shared enthusiasm for healthcare transformation, came together to breathe life into their ideas. Our contribution? An open-source health wallet that empowers individuals to take full control of their health data.

A Wild Week in AI

Brace yourself for a rollercoaster ride through the week's exhilarating developments in AI. From OpenAI's text-to-3D model, Shap-E, to Warren Buffet's AI revelation, the tech world is abuzz with excitement. In the corporate arena, AMD and Microsoft are challenging Nvidia's dominance in AI chips, while Palantir's AI-based military strategies have propelled its stock sky-high. Elsewhere, Tesla's FSD is now freely available to all North American cars, and Meta's ImageBind is opening new avenues in VR, multimedia search, and robotics.

Read on below, where you’ll also find the links to additional details incl. demo videos on each of these developments like Claude AI where you can now feed 100.000 tokens of text.

Or stability ai’s new text-to-animation feature.

And not to forget Bard, google just released a massive update and it seems like we Europeans will now be grated access, too 🥳.
