{{contact.first_name}} A Shop, a Chop, and a Hint of Chaos (Just Another Week Here)
Apr 12, 2025 2:31 pm
Hello my lovely bookworm,
Time for your weekly dose of magic and mildly chaotic life updates from yours truly.
Let’s get into it...
A shop forged by the gods (and my IT guy)
Behind the veil (okay, behind the scenes), I’ve been building my bookish shop on my upcoming website! (Yes, I’m finally getting my darn official website with a domain and everything.) It’ll be gorgeous, touched by the muses themselves, and totally made for you. Gotta give credit where it is due, the magic wouldn’t be happening without my resident tech wizard—a man of many talents, lightning-fast clickity clackity fingers, and a beard with the vibe of Ares off-duty. You know, the kind that says he’d build you a temple... and torch it if someone hurt you. I mean, come on.
Honestly, I swoon every time he says “I’ve got you, sweetheart.”
…Oh right.
He’s my boyfriend.
Oops.
He codes, he smolders, he brings me tea—what was I supposed to do, not fall for him? (And no, I’m not writing him into a book... yet. Wink. Wink. I hope to God he doesn’t read this.)
Writing, uploading, summoning the muse
I’ve been diving deep into my current WIPs this week and trying out a new upload schedule. So far, the vibes are good and the characters are very much making questionable decisions in the name of love (as they should). If you have a favorite trope or a request for future stories, don’t be shy—drop me a line.
Aphrodite, Hold My Hair
After years of letting my hair grow like I was preparing to reclaim my throne beneath the sea, I finally surfaced and did the unthinkable: I got a haircut. Like, a real one. For realzies. Not a trim. Not a “just the dead ends, please”—we’re talking a damn chop. My hair used to reach past my waist, and now? It lands just past my collarbones… complete with soft, face-framing layers.
Was I excited? Like a siren spotting a ship on the horizon.
Was I nervous? Like Medusa at a mirror sale.
But here we are. New cut, who dis? May the hair gods continue to favor me...
That’s the scoop for now. Soon, you’ll be able to snag signed paperbacks or hardcovers of my books—straight from me to your doorstep. But wait, there’s more (read that in a dramatic voice, please): they’ll come with exclusive character art, bookmarks, and other bookish goodies your little reader heart is gonna adore.
I can’t wait to share it all with you.
