A Little Holiday & Author Life Update
My birthday and Christmas are just around the corner, and I have so much planned! Between new releases, holiday surprises, and the Discord community I’m building for us to hang out in and share our love for books, it’s going to be a full (and cozy) season.
This year, my main focus was to release two books: Throttle of Midnight and Moon Bound Desires, a fast-paced novella and a full-length fantasy romance that dives deeper into the Dawngarde saga.
Both stories tie into the massive world I’ve been secretly building behind the scenes.
But… my brain doesn’t rest. So, I decided to start a Christmas novella just for you!
Since I’m currently on bed rest for six weeks after knee surgery (surprise, surprise), I’ve got extra time to write. Don’t worry, I’m healing well, and channeling all that “can’t sit still” energy into creating something magical and a but dark, just the way I like it.
Now, let’s talk books.
You all know I love making my stories accessible. I’ve been thinking about future releases and where you prefer to read. I can either keep going wide (Kobo, Nook, Apple Books, etc.) or sign my life away to Amazon (kidding… mostly) so my longer sagas can be read with Kindle Unlimited.
Amazon’s great for visibility, but it doesn’t always treat authors fairly when it comes to royalties, which is why I’ve stayed wide.
Still, most of my sales come through Kindle, so I want to make the best decision for you and for my stories.
Here’s my current plan:
Series & sagas → potentially available in Kindle Unlimited
Novellas & standalones → available everywhere else at a lower price
But before I make anything official…
I need your input:
