Aurora didn't move at first. Just lingered between Harper’s thighs with the taste of her still sweet on her tongue.
Her mate was shaking, barely upright, all flushed chest and trembling thighs, her fingers still tangled in Aurora’s hair like she didn’t know how to let go. Gods, she was beautiful like this.
Aurora eased back slowly, letting her tongue drag one last time along the inside of her thigh, then looked up with a hooded gaze and a lazy smile.
“Your turn,” Harper whispered, voice still cracked from the force of her release.
Aurora raised a brow, amused. Oh? So the little fawn wanted to give back now. She didn’t protest.
Aurora rose to her full height. Her thigh brushed Harper’s cheek as she shifted her weight, one hand trailing through her hair.
“Have you ever done this before?” Aurora asked, voice velvet and smoke.
Harper shook her head.
“Good,” Aurora murmured. “Then I get to teach you.”
Harper glanced up, smirking despite the flush on her cheeks. “You don’t look like a patient teacher.”
“I’m not.”
“Then how do you expect me to learn?”
“By listening. And keeping that mouth busy.”
“Bossy.”
Aurora gave a gentle tug on Harper’s hair, just enough to make her gasp. “And yet you’re still on your knees.”
Harper’s mouth brushed along the seam of her folds, tentative and unsure, but still so eager. Aurora’s head tipped back slightly, a soft sound escaping her lips. The tips of her thumbs pulled Aurora’s folds apart, exposing sensitive flesh. Aurora hissed through her teeth, her stomach fluttering as the rush of sensation made her legs tense.
“Start with your tongue,” she said, voice low. “Slow and wide strokes.”
