Happy Thanksgiving

Hello Everyone,

I hope you’re all doing well, and I want to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving! It’s been a little while since my last newsletter, so I wanted to take a moment to share some thoughts, reflections, and gratitude as we head into the holiday.

I’m calling this newsletter my rideshare chronicles because, over the past decade, between gigs, projects, and contract work. I’ve driven for both Uber and Lyft. I’m thankful for rideshare because whenever I’ve needed it, I’ve been able to get in my car and work for a few hours to cover family expenses. That flexibility has been invaluable during busy seasons and life transitions.

When we first moved to Florida in late June, my family and I were involved in a serious car accident. Thankfully, everyone walked away alive. My wife suffered whiplash and recently completed her therapy, I have a torn meniscus and will be having surgery next month, and my girls are all okay. I want to thank everyone who sent prayers and support during that time. Even though we’ve had some setbacks and I’m not able to work a full 40 hours, I’m grateful that I can still do rideshare to help support my family in the meantime.

As I continue to search for a full-time role as a digital marketing manager (and if anyone you know needs help with marketing in Florida or remotely, I’d truly appreciate a referral), I’m also happy to share that I recently passed my life insurance exam. I am now licensed in Florida, Virginia, and Arizona. If you have family or friends who don’t have life insurance, maybe someone with young kids or someone approaching retirement. I’d be happy to start that conversation with them. I haven’t obtained my Maryland license yet because I haven’t had a client there, but once I do, I’ll take care of it. Each license comes with costs, so I focus on states where there is an immediate need.

Finally, I want to say I am grateful to everyone on this email list. Your support throughout the years has been amazing, especially during difficult times like when my mom passed away; your help meant the world.

I hope this Thanksgiving season brings you good health, peace, and gratitude for the blessings in your life.

Respectfully,

Juan
